Snapshot is a voting platform that allows DAOs, DeFi protocols, or NFT communities to vote easily and without gas fees. The tool allows high customization of the voting process to cater to the diverse needs of the users and organizations. We are also currently working on Snapshot X - an on-chain voting solution.

Our Goals for this Hackathon

The goal of Snapshot is and always has been to enable users around the world to take part in their organisation's decision making and make this trustless process as easy and intuitive as possible. Therefore we are looking to enhance our products further both for off- and on-chain governance, create new customisable solutions and integrations which can benefit the multitude of organisations in the space.

Lit Protocol lets you create and manage distributed cryptographic keypairs for condition-based encryption and programmatic signing. A decentralized key management network, Lit can be used in place of centralized key custodians and other key management solutions.

Our Goals for this Hackathon

Lit is a blockchain-agnostic middleware network that can be used to read and write data between blockchains, state machines, and off-chain platforms with conditional decryption and programmatic signing. With these core offerings, Lit enables automations and programmatic signing. The projects the team is most interested in seeing is how automations can improve the usability of interacting with dApps. Programmatic signing and account abstraction are two powerful concepts that we'd love to see projects explore.
